DLD College London occupies a purpose built block on Westminster Bridge Road in Waterloo, a short walk from the South Bank and across the river from Westminster. Unlike the converted townhouses most London sixth form colleges work from, DLD was designed as a college, with teaching space and boarding accommodation in the same building. The A-Level range runs to 18 subjects and leans towards the creative and media end alongside the academic core: Film Studies, Media Studies, Photography, Graphic Communication and Art and Design all sit beside Mathematics, the sciences and Economics. A-Levels are normally taught over two years, with one year retake routes for students who need to improve existing grades. That retake provision is a significant part of what the college does rather than an afterthought. Boarding is on site with en-suite rooms, house parents and a weekly activities programme, and the charge covers meals and internet. Tuition is billed separately from boarding and the college does not publish tuition rates online, so you will need to ask.
